Why! Why! Why did you do this too me!!
Hello, I am very, very, very annoyed! Okay well Monk FoW armour dyed orange = Bright blue/teal yeah.
So I go "oh that looks quite nice I think i'll purchase a set". Okay so I eventually craft it all and dye it orange and guess what.... It doesnt dye blue. Ok well what the guild wars people arnt telling us is that Monk "Obsidan" Doesnt dye the same as the old FoW sets! Ok thanks for not telling me, great I have just spent a chunk of my money on armour that doesnt dye nice! I am well annoyed at this!! I want my bright teal armour! So people of guild wars I suggest you update that. Thankyou Many Regards Thanks for your comments. Last edited by Warrior Necromancer; Jun 09, 2006 at 12:15 PM // 12:15.. |

Why did they do it to you? I dunno, maybe they had a meeting and they wondered how many people would get annoyed if they changed FoW armor so that it didn't dye the same as it used to. Yes, I'm pretty sure it was a deliberate act on their part, it's all a conspiracy I tell you. |

The thread was made as a complaint as well as kind of a warning. The old monk Fissure armor used to dye differently. The O.P. is telling us that the old dye charts for the obsidian armor will not work with the new armor purchased and they dye differently. kind of good to know.

orange dye is 500 gold, buy 5 green, 5 blue, mix them, and you get teal....

Thanks for letting us know they've changed how Monk Obsidian armour dyes.
But it doesn't pose a big problem to anybody. Mix up some teal dye (blue+green), it's not hard. The armour does not "not dye nice". It dyes as nicely as you choose to dye it. I'm actually pleased it dyes the colour of the dye you apply. They should do the same with Chaos Axes. Not meaning to offend, but get over it. You'll make back the money you lost on dye in no time. I promise. |

Orange dye 500g, seriously, this is one of the basic colors that was worthless
in prophecies, I probably have 30+ of these in my stock, I better go do a quick dye price check. |

I'm going back a few months here to when I purchased my fow monk armor and dyed it a very nice blue.
It was a combo of judges (chest, legs) and ascetics. One of these dyed normally and the other dyed reversed. So this glitch described was already existent. To get a nicely matched set, some pieces were dyed orange and others with a special mix. Was there a bit of wasted dye? You betcha. I'm confused as to why anyone who can farm enough for fow armor would get even a little pissy about the dye costs. |

didnt monk and necro armor always dye funny. well mine didnt when everyone said it did which i found weird. but anyway surely someone who knows anything about the game would know that monk fow armor dyes weirdly or did do. also seems weird your crying over a few 100 gold. it amazes me that people can afford to spend i think 900k + on armor and have a tiny knowledge of the game. seems kinda fishy if you know what i mean
